A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Originally hailing from Sydney, Australia, I now live in Los Angeles with my partner and our two cats. I taught myself Photoshop at age 11 and haven't looked back since! Back then I used it for making posters for films I'd do with friends, and nowadays I've had the opportunity to do a whole lot more; like throwing myself into the deep-end at a UX and product design agency in Sydney, doing freelance motion design for bands, branding, editorial design, and most recently thriving as a Senior Designer at Ceros, working in interaction design, exploring UX and building wireframes. I love tea, bushwalks, Dungeons & Dragons — and great design.

Lou is a dream to work with. She's talented and creative, eager to learn, and grows from direction given. She's kind– an often overlooked value that means so much in the world as it is. Who wants to work with jerks? Not me. I'd work with Lou any old time, any old place, and she'd make the work better.
Anne Meadows, Art Director

Louise has boundless creative talent, excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and overall just a wonderful human being. I could not recommend her more highly.
Emma Chao, Art Director
... Above all Louise was a contributor and nurturer of the company's culture. With a kind heart and an uplifting attitude, always ready to support each and everyone of us and staying strong in difficult times. An outspoken supporter of diversity and equality she helped the studio become more inclusive, aware and mature. I cannot recommend Louise enough.

I developed concepts, wireframes and an interactive web build within the Ceros Pilot Program for RingCentral. I iterated from concept to build and worked alongside their internal designer for branding, exploration and showcasing Ceros for their use.

An interactive newsletter web build for company JEDunn, including an initial wireframe to align on layout and overall design direction. The goal was to engage and excite internal employees and to give users a framework for future newsletters. Important for the client to be able to repurpose this design regularly, so it needed to be easy for them to navigate and intuitive to use. I implemented client and Art Director feedback regularly throughout the development of this project.

I build this interactive design for desktop and mobile and a standalone template for a hub and interior page highlighting Seafire Resorts property amenities and events. The aim was to set up the customer for success in repurposing and using the design for further additional info pages. I worked alongside an Art Director.
A mobile and tablet build to be embedded on the customer's website, an adaptation working within designs approved by the customer, with a mobile build wireframed and built out by myself. As this was an embedded experience it was important to match each specification by the client as closely as possible, and to iterate on mobile layouts so that the design could remain intuitive.
A webinar presentation built to be revisted by the viewers for further information at a later date. I presented it as an educational facts-based seminar on how customers and users can utilise Ceros for their own designs and builds.

Brand book update for Sydney-based theatre company The Rough Hewn Theatre Troupe.
I developed this interactive web & mobile build targeted towards prospective buyers in the wedding space, collaborating alongside an Art Director and Project Manager. My process involved iterating on user experience and layout based on client branding, and developing engaging ways for users to explore the information on offer, while also incorporating client feedback. Once desktop was built out, it was then important to test and iterate on a mobile version for best user experience. It was also important that the client could make their own updates, so the design had to be intuitive and easy to navigate.
